Hello dears,

Today I'm showing you first part of pictures, we made during honeymoon in Bali.
It was very important for us not only to lay on the beach, but also to see and explore as much as possible, because Bali island is really a spectacular place and I think everyone would find there something what they love: beautiful beaches, huge waves, romantic night sky, lots of shops and restaurants with amazing food, cliffs, breathtaking parks, elephant safari, temples, original architecture, unique rice fields, mountain climbing, all water activities like snorkeling, diving, SPA procedures and so and so on... Oh, yes Bali has what to offer and two weeks in this paradise is still not enough... :)
The plan for our first tourist day looked like this: Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple, Holy Spring Temple (Pura Tirta Empul), Gunnung Kawi, Tegalalang Rice terraces, Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctury, Ubud Royal Palace + Ubud Art Market, Goa Gajah/Elephant Cave Temple.
The day was pretty busy and intense, but we managed to complete our plan and were blown away from the beauty we saw...
Take a look at the gallery and you will know why! ;)
Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple is a special find for visitors to Central Bali.
It is one of the least visited temple complexes on the island Bali, yet is one of the most beautiful.

So here I am with my personal impressions from June... Actually I'm quite speechless, because it is quite hard to find suitable words to describe this month... maybe "bombastic" will fit here the best... :)
Why June was so special for me?- first of all I got MARRIED(!), had two bachelorette parties (living abroad sometimes has some advantages:)), I was the only person who was responsible for my wedding decorations and style (so it means one week before wedding, instead of working on my tan or beauty, I was preparing hall, table decorations gifts and so on), also I left Europe for the first time in my life for our honeymoon in Bali island and many many other amazing things happened in June, but more details you can see and find in my picture gallery! ;)
Biggest highlight of the month. Moments of my wedding

Hello dears,

Well well well, here I am with my second post from Bali island. This time I'm sharing some photos and impressions from our first hotel we chose for our honeymoon and it was Puri Sebatu resort
The resort is located in a historical Sebatu village Tegallalang and surrounded with agro plantation and lush green tropical jungle on the hills. So it was, as promised, a pure escape from routine, city life and busy touristic places. We stayed here for 5 days and during this time we could enjoy a traditional hospitality and beyond tasty Balinese food from local restaurant. The resort offers 10 villas with a traditional natural Balinese design, so privacy and personal staff care is guaranteed.
I highly recommend this idyllic resort for all people who love nature and want to experience real Bali. Of course, keep it in mind, that resort is in the middle of the village and jungle, so be prepared to see local monkeys near your deck, huge spiders in the trees (don't worry, they don't attack people, because they eat birds :D), grasshoppers making sound all night long, crowing rooster and booing cows at the morning, various bugs flying around (P.S. I haven't seen mosquito there) and even little lizards walking in your bathroom.  Sounds like a real adventure, doesn't it? And I say - yes, it was definitely unforgettable experience and a pleasant stay!
If we would be looking for the hotel again, we would make the same decision, because Puri Sebatu resort is a place to escape, experience and enjoy! ;)

Local restaurant/lounge. Usually we were sitting there alone, thus becoming the whole staff attention and care.
