If someone had asked me several month before what is a "must have" piece in a trendy wardrobe Fall/Winter 2013/14 I would have answered:  red tartan shirt!!! Together with the grunge style celebrate this simple piece a huge come-back, that I really enjoy. The shirt is easy to style, looks amazingly chic with boyfriend jeans, huge statement necklace, boots and over-sized coat - a perfect choice for the casual look. isn't it? :)

Here is my quick outfit pick from online shop assortment:

These clothes are available to buy here:
And this is how I wear my tartan shirt:

I don't know why, but at the moment I'm a little bit obsessed with the red color and it's a quite weird for me, because I never wore that color before...  Well, time flies and everything changes... And it has to be like this, hasn't it? :)
About the look: this is how I look like when I'm going out on weekend. In my opinion, metallic materials look really well in winter outfits and combined with red accessories - just impossible not to be noticed on the dance floor.

Belt: H&H
Coat: secondhand haul
Bag: gift

Slowly slowly streets of cities and shop windows are filled with Christmas mood. Thus our headache: "What gift I'm going to make this year?" is getting bigger and bigger... To avoid the last week panic I would like to share one idea with you now, when you still have time for handicrafts. In my opinion, your best friend, mother or grandmother would be really happy about such handmade original present.
It's maybe nothing new for you (I mean decoupage technique), but I would like to share my way of doing it in a very simple way. All you need are:
  • Simple wooden hairbrush (I bought mine for 1 Euro)
  • Some table napkins or a beautiful pattern/picture found in the magazine
  • Nail polish (completely clear one to cover the top and one for decor (if you like, of course)
  • Simple handicrafts glue
So you simply glue the chosen paper/ napkins on the hairbrush and let it dry. Then cover the surface with one or two layer of clear nail polish, and then at the end all you need to do is decorate your hairbrush according to your taste: I used, for example, some silver nail polish and a little bow.

Hope you liked it and it was an useful post!

Don't forget- the best gifts you can give for your friends and family are your time, attention and love...and handmade present is one way of saying "I love you" without words... :)

Hello dears,

After very intensive week it's time to remember an amazing Halloween, which I was celebrating for the first time(!) in the perfect location: house Annaberg in Bonn.
I think this place was the best location, that could be chosen for such occasion: historical place filled with an outstanding charisma...What can be better? :)

My costume was made of course by myself and surprisingly in one or two hours (this was the time I needed for my veil to finish and choose the outfit). Plus the time for make-up (approximately 10-15 minutes) and Halloween here I come! :)

Once again I proofed that original ideas bring sometimes better results than expensive costumes!

On the left side: my boyfriend and his make-up made by me :)
